We are now able to proudly present the members of our jury — the jury for the European feature film competition «Growing Up» is formed by

Inger Nilsson (SWE),
Karin Wolfs (NL) and
Alessandro Piva (ITA).
The German short films will be judged by Karl-Heinz Braune, Barbara Kamp, Irit Neidhardt, Fabian Busch and Christian Fürst.

Working with children & teenagers in feature films
Which challenges does one face when working with children and teenagers as leading actors in feature films? And what happens to the actors/actresses who become famous early in life? At three panels, both young and grown-up actors — including jury member Inger Nilsson — directors, a casting agent and media pedagogues will try to find answers.

For the first time, the Filmfestival Münster will host a European feature film competition. The topic will be: «Growing Up».
Eight films compete against each other for the director’s award endowed with € 10,000:

* 25.08.’05 Short films, and no end to it
This year, we had to choose from 520 submissions, 68 of which made it into the festival. Among the selected short films are this year’s student Oscar award winner
AUSREISSER by Ulrike Grote and last festival’s favorite Stephan «Flint» Müller.
